Game 1

After a successful cricket tour to Glouster last year, Hawley CC ventured out on only their second tour in their long history to the picturesque seaside town of Bude, in sunny Cornwall, (or was that foggy Cornwall). Anyway, once the mist had cleared, Hawleys first game, against Tintagel, eventually got under way with the home side batting first.Tintagel were eventually bowled out for. . . . . with Hawley easily making the runs with wickets to spare, just before the mist settled in again.

Game 2.

Hawley batted first in this match, the pitch on the cliff edge, can just be seen in the picture above. Thats Craig in the middle making his 100 runs N.O. Hawley manged to put on 340 runs in their alloted overs and although this wasn't a cliff hanger of a game the home side managed a creditable 200.

Tour 2001 to Gloucester
